Furnishing with high-quality textiles in neutral colours will get you closer to that clean, soft atmosphere of a hotel room. Skip the bedspread; leave your linens and pillowcases in plain sight – and place a throw by the footboard.
Bright-coloured sheets
A classic hotel look entails snow-white sheets (we say “white as a sheet”, after all). Alternatively, you could go for light linen sheets for a more relaxed style sometimes seen at smaller boutique hotels.
