It was during the traffic jam, spring 1959 in Fredriksberg, Denmark as a police stopped the traffic to let an duck family cross the street. This charming moment was captured by picture and spread in newspaper all over Denmark. Many became affected, and especially Hans Bølling who was so taken from the story that he designed this little duck in teak.

Great ducks. Bought both the large and small. Was a Christmas present for mother. She was super pleased. The ducks are large enough to be able to see them, but not magnified so that they are difficult to place.
