Beskrivning
This wok pan is a nice complement to Satake's cast iron casseroles from the Nabe series. Beautiful design with proper handles for safe and easy useage. Supplied wooden lid, heat resistant glass lid and a wooden base to be used as a trivet.

Safe to use on all hobs, including induction.

Weight: 4.5 kg.

Maintenance
Wash by hand after each use, use warm water and a soft dish-brush. Avoid detergent, this will dry out the burnt iron. Wipe dry with paper towels immediately after cleaning and preferably lubricate with neutral cooking oil and wipe off with paper towels.

The wooden lid swells slightly at high humidity, it will resume normal size when all dry again. Rinse the wooden lid by rinsing it and then wipe off the lid after use. Lubricate with neutral cooking oil from time to time and wipe off with paper towels.

First of all, I can say that I have several new experiences with Satake. The brand makes good stuff, there's no talking about that. This wok is no exception and I just tried it. Someone complained that the bottom was not smooth. It might have been a manufacturing defect. My bottom (bottom) is completely straight... The top of the bottom is rounded like the rest of the top. But I have tried with my existing glass ceramic stove and there were no problems at all. I'm going to get induction in the future and I'm not sure it's worse, as long as you have 400v. But gas is perhaps optimal. The feeling would probably be better. What I did was preheat the pan, and when it was hot I poured in the oil to start cooking the food. It went fast too. I bought this because I want a nice wok that also goes with everything else when I serve. I think I got that. The feeling of quality is fantastic, just as a modern cast iron boiler should be. However, the accompanying wooden lid or the accompanying wooden underlay were not of any further quality. The feel and weight are very reminiscent of cardboard. The glass lid that also came with it felt better and more robust. But I would have liked the handle on the glass to be metal instead of plastic. But then I'm a bit picky.
Stylish and good quality on the pan itself and the glass lid
Poor quality of wooden lid and base

Totoalt checkout for induction hobs uneven at the bottom probably works well on gas but should definitely not be listed as okay for all hobs. As I said, if you need a smooth bottom, i.e. all pours except gas, don't buy
good-looking
