It is more greenish gray than gray. But mainly I am bothered by the fact that the fabric is different lengths all around, of which part of the fabric hangs in the air while part of the fabric drags on the ground. I have bought two canopies from jabadabado via royal design and the first one arrived broken, but both have the same problem with the fabric. It works well if you hang it over a bed, but if you want it for a cozy reading corner, the different lengths of the fabric are visible very well

I did not like the gray color at all according to my expectations after seeing it both in the store and in pictures. It was more green/mossy in color than gray. However, it is a very nice bed canopy, I returned this one and bought the white one instead.
