About the brand
Stelton is a portmanteau of the names of its founders, Niels Stellan Høm and Carton Madelaire. Established in the 1960s, Stelton first gained international acclaim in 1967 following the release of the Cylinda line of products. The Cylinda line became popular because of its avant-garde and timeless design which did not compromise on functionality and affordability. Since then, Stelton designs products by following the four tenets closely.

I've had the pot for many years, but unfortunately the glass insert shattered into a thousand pieces when I stirred it with a cold spoon after the water was too hot… but now it's sitting nicely on the table again, and maybe I'll find a cheap insert for the old one someday, then I'll have two… unfortunately, replacement parts are so expensive that it's usually more worthwhile to buy a new one… 😏 Delivery was otherwise quick and good… 👍
