The Kurre pattern is based on Aino-Maija Metsola's stories from the forest and features a lively collection of squirrels gathering and hiding nuts. Squirrels were a common sight in the designer's childhood garden, which inspired this playful motif. The original artwork was created with brush and ink on paper.
