Vuoren Kasvit is a large, round tray from Marimekko with a nature-like pattern created by Maija Isola. The tray is made of laminated birch veneer and also works together with Marimekko's oak stand, allowing it to be used as a small table.
The Vuoren kasvit (mountain plants) pattern was designed in 1979, inspired by Isola's walks in the Appalachians where she collected large plants as motifs for both paintings and textiles. The result is a detailed, botanical expression that captures the quiet beauty of nature.
