Emma Vacuum Jug Tea from Stelton. This is a traditional, yet innovative, tea jug from Danish Stelton. It is made of lacquered stainless steel in a beautiful natural color, and the handle in beechwood gives a fresh and Nordic look. The tea jug has a built-in filter, and with a simple twist you stop the brewing process when the tea has got the desired strength. It is designed by Sebastian Holmbäck and Ulrik Nordentoft.
About the brand
Stelton is a portmanteau of the names of its founders, Niels Stellan Høm and Carton Madelaire. Established in the 1960s, Stelton first gained international acclaim in 1967 following the release of the Cylinda line of products. The Cylinda line became popular because of its avant-garde and timeless design which did not compromise on functionality and affordability. Since then, Stelton designs products by following the four tenets closely.

The jug does what it is described to do. The heat of the thermos lasts long enough for one person to drink everything - for me up to 4h. The built-in tea holder works well with the shut-off function, especially since after one or two cups it is no longer in the water. The pot is easy to use and clean, but the plastic parts quickly get color deposits from the tea.
The product doesn't get full marks because the jug doesn't have a good enough drip protection, when the tea holder is closed together with the cork, it happens that it oozes from the jug and the lid, and that the top of the jug's handle, which is encased in some kind of transparent rubber, has after a couple of weeks already started to disappear (but the last one may be only for my copy).
