Inspired by Jørn Utzon's tranquil family home in Majorca, this mug features his elegant bird sketches that symbolise a sense of fluidity and grace. The mug is called "Vuelo", which means "flight" in Spanish, and captures the outspoken elegance of its bird motif. Each mug is made from glazed ceramic and features unique hand-cast marks that add an artisanal touch. The bird motifs are intricately rendered using a traditional batik technique, where wax resists the glaze, creating patterns that are both detailed and mesmerising.
