The name Kateha comes from the word Al katifa that means rug with carpet piles in old Arabic. The company Kateha was founded by Barbara Hosak and the office lies in Värnamo Småland where all product development is controled from. Katehas rugs are hand made in Europe and India by experienced weavers. Kateha develops hand made rugs with high quality and takes Scandinavian rug design and innovation to a higher level.
