PH Artichoke from the world famous Louis Poulsen is a unique luminaire with a design that really stands out. It is considered to be a classic masterpiece by Poul Henningsen, who designed PH Artichoke in 1958, which means it has been established worldwide for 60 years.
The structure of the luminaire consists of 12 steel arches with 72 leaves that Henningsen placed in twelve circular rows of six leaves on each row. Each row is oblique to the previous one, which allows the luminaire to be viewed from all angles without revealing the light source in the middle. The original PH Artichoke was presented for a restaurant in Copenhagen called Langelinie Pavilion, where they still hang yet to this day.
Only EU-version (220V) available.
