Theo coffee maker is in mat black stoneware with a glossy glaze and a lid in durable Asian bamboo which makes the jug both raw and elegant at the same time. The Theo jug have an integrated drop-free function in the lid to avoid any unnecessary spills. The jug is glazed on the inside making it easier to clean, the jug is also dishwasher safe.

About the brand
Stelton is a portmanteau of the names of its founders, Niels Stellan Høm and Carton Madelaire. Established in the 1960s, Stelton first gained international acclaim in 1967 following the release of the Cylinda line of products. The Cylinda line became popular because of its avant-garde and timeless design which did not compromise on functionality and affordability. Since then, Stelton designs products by following the four tenets closely.

Unfortunately, Stelton has lowered the quality of the pitcher. Filter and piston are the same good quality as before, but the fine stoneware jug has now become a fragile ceramic jug, without information about the update. I actually had one before but it went to the ex-wife in the division of property... so yes, I'm quite disappointed. The original version is so nice to have on the table.
