The shape is inspired by the brand's iconic slats, but with a new interpretation that gives the lamp a unique expression. The cylindrical shade tapers at the top, bottom and centre, creating an asymmetrical hourglass shape that gives the design extra character. The lampshade is made of a material that combines paper and plastic - a composition that provides a pleasant light transmission, tactile surface and high quality. Both the top of the lampshade and the base are made of birch, which adds a warm contrast to the modern shape. A lamp that is as much a work of art as a light source.
