The Ultima Thule drinking glass is a glass that seems to float above the table, where light is refracted and reflected in the glass's unique bubbles, creating a sense of Arctic stillness. Inspired by ice and snow, Tapio Wirkkala, a pioneer in glass design, spent almost a thousand hours with the glassblowers at the Iittala factory to recreate Nordic nature in glass form. The result is an iconic design that elegantly combines art and function.
