- Polished brass
This shiny brass is polished and lacquered and will not be aging or patinated with time. That's because the material is not in direct contact with air or other elements thanks to the lacquered surface.
- Untreated brass
This is neither polished nor lacquered. Untreated brass comes directly from the lathe and has a rough matt surface. Untreated brass is aged and patinated faster than treated brass. - Nickel plated
Nickel plating is a surface treatment that gives a beautiful shiny surface.
