Description
The Archive table lamp from Northern is an example of how minimalist design can have a big presence. Created by Norwegian Studio Sløyd, the lamp began as hand-folded paper models during Designers' Saturday - where the first sketches explored soft curves and undulating forms. These have now been recreated in steel, giving the lamp a distinct, architectural character that combines simplicity with sculptural weight.
The curved shade gently reflects light downwards and outwards, creating a warm, adjustable light that works equally well on a desk, side table or in a public setting. Archive is available in two sizes and two colours, making it easy to find a version that suits your style.
