Chateau Wine glass from Kosta Boda. This wine glass belongs to one of Kosta Bodas most popular series, and is handmade in crystal glass. The glass has a classic and beautiful expression that fits all the festivities of the year.
It is designed by Bertil Vallien who said: "I had two ambitions when I designed Château. Firstly, I wanted to make a glass that a machine could not do, as you could see was handmade. The optics in the cup and the thin glass. My second ambition was to keep the design simple but elegant. "

About the brand
Kosta Boda (originally Kosta Glasbruk) was founded in 1742 by two highly decorated soldiers from the army of legendary King Charles XII: Field Marshall Baron Georg Bogislaus Staël von Holstein and Lieutenant General Anders Koskull. Almost three centuries later, the oldest Swedish glassworks company has also grown to become arguably the best in the country.

Good price. Less good that the glasses were dusty and looked stale before I washed them. Sad that you do not print that the Swedish design glasses were made in Turkey and not Sweden. Not so fun when the purchase was made to bring as a gift from Sweden to friends abroad.

Bought two 35 cl wine glasses in the Chateau series.
Gave away as a gift.
One lacks the characteristic wave movements in the cup, which is the reason for choosing this particular series.
