We had expected it to be clear yellow in color because the pictures looked like that and it's name is yellow. In reality, though, it's more orange, so I was initially disappointed by the color. We bought two and set up one first. After a few days we still decided to put up the second one because it still works well with orange and it gives a warm light that is cozy. It would have been even nicer if they were yellow, but it still works and we're still happy. We mounted it on the roof and not in (flush mount) but it still works well. It turned out nice with two equals in the hall.
