Description
Designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, the Palissade Cantilever Chair from HAY is part of the updated Palissade Cantilever collection. The cantilever construction gives the chair a light and floating look, while the subtle curve in the steel frame creates a soft and springy seating comfort. The symmetrical design preserves the iconic character of the Palissade, while the open silhouette allows the chair to blend into both natural landscapes and urban environments. Made from weather-resistant powder-coated or hot-dip galvanised steel, it is designed for long-term outdoor use and can be easily combined with other pieces in the Palissade collection.

About the brand
Hay was founded in 2002, and its furniture collection was launched at Imm Cologne in 2003. The ambition behind Hay was to encourage Danish furniture design to return to its innovative golden age of the 1950s and 1960s, but in a context suited to the present day. It quickly became a concept that gained global popularity.
