Sika-Design is a Danish family company founded in 1942. With a strong passion for rattan, they create timeless furniture in their own designs as well as in collaboration with some of the world’s leading architects.

Rattan – a unique natural material

Rattan is often confused with bamboo, but unlike bamboo, rattan is a solid material. This makes it both highly durable and flexible, allowing for soft shapes and great comfort. Rattan furniture, from elegant lounge pieces to café chairs in classic bistro style, is made to last for generations.
