Since 1748, Villeroy & Boch has shaped European design history – a brand where craftsmanship meets modern innovation. In the charming town of Mettlach, which remains the heart of the business to this day, the foundations were laid for what would become one of the world’s most renowned porcelain manufacturers. Here, by the River Saar, not only production was developed, but also the distinctive design philosophy that continues to define the brand.

To this day, a large part of the range for the laid table is produced in Europe, in advanced manufacturing facilities where technology and craftsmanship go hand in hand.
